Many congratulations to Chestnut house, winners of this year's inter-house netball tournament.
There was also a lot of excitement on Monday when the Staff challenged the Study to a charity netball match; the staff won 16-5!!!
Well done to Cassidy James who was awarded player of the match when the Inters played D'overbroeks; Inters won 14-4 with.

Many congratulations to Katie Russell, member of the Great Britain Junior Sailing squad
We have had several netball matches over the last 2 weeks. The Senior team played Rye St Antony on February 28th and won a closely fought game 15-12. The Shell, Remove, Inter and UT's also had games against Rye St Antony which were all extremely competitive games with Alex Sweeney, Sophie Grosvenor, Amba Tawake and Tumi Fani-Kayode all getting player of the match.
Next week the school look forward to House netball for Junior and Senior teams and a Sport Relief Charity Netball match for the Study against Staff on Monday 17th March.

Tuesday 5th February, U16 and U14 Netball teams played against Oxford High School. The U14s lost 7-2 and the U16s won 17-7 (Tobi was awarded 'man' of the match).
Our U15 cross country team also took part in the Oxfordshire County cross country meet at Radley college. All who competed showed excellent determination with Katie Russell coming 1st out of the Wychwood girls.

Wednesday 6th February, the U16 girls Basketball team played in the Oxford Schools' basketball tournament and won beating Cherwell 28-12. Captain, Poon Prima, led the team to victory with a high score of 9 points to her name.
Sports report week ending 25th January 2008
Cross Country was a great success at the Dragon School with Hollie James coming 2nd in the Senior race. Well done Hollie!
Senior netball lost 13-7 to OHS but the girls showed some excellent progress.
The U14 and U15 Netball teams played against Gosford Hill on Wednesday and were narrowly beaten 10-7 and 7-4 respectively.
The U15 Hockey team competed in the Inter Oxford Schools Hockey Tournament. The girls played extremely well and came 3rd in the competition.
